Live updates from day two of the second Test between West Indies and Zimbabwe at Windsor Park, Dominica.
West Indies Innings:



End of over 70: 244 for 4
Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored another half-century as West Indies increased their lead to 69 runs. This partnership between Chanderpaul and Ramdin has now taken West Indies to a very comfortable position.

At Lunch: 201 for 4
Though West Indies lost both the batsmen from tommorow, the first session belonged to Chris Gayle. After losing Samuels on the first ball of Day 2, Gayle hit bowlers allover the park and reached his century in style by hitting Utseya for two big sixes; later Utseya got his wicket when Jarvis took a brilliant running catch. West Indies have a lead of 26 runs as Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Denesh Ramdin head off the field.

End of over 57: 193 for 4
West Indies lost the wicket of Chris Gayle in 49th over when Gayle wanted to hit Utseya down the ground against the turn, but was caught by Kyle Jarvis, who made a long run from long-off to take a stunning catch. Denesh Ramdin has come in to join Shivnarine Chanderpaul. West Indies now have 18 runs lead with six wickets still in hand.

End of over 47: 180 for 3 After making a cautious start on Day 2, Chris Gayle is now hitting allover the park. Gayle hit two huge sixes off Utseya's two consecutive deliveries to reach 99. On the next ball he takes a single to reach to his century. West Indies are now in full control of this game with runs lead over Zimbabwe, and seven wickets still in hand.

End of over 45: 165 for 3 After losing the wicket of Marlon Samuels on the first ball of Day 1, Shivnarine Chanderpaul nad Chris Gayle made sure that West Indies didn't lose anymore wickets. Gayle hit Makadza over midwicket boundary for six runs to reach 87. Chanderpaul is batting on 24 and has not taken any risks so far.

End of over 35: 137 for 3 Chris Gayle continued to score freely with Shivnarine Chanderpaul after the fall of Marlon Samuel's wicket. Chris Gayle was batting at 77 runs with 12 boundaries and one six. Pacers Chatara and Jarvis have started the proceedings for Zimbabwe on Day 2.
End of over 28: 118 for 3 What a brilliant start this has been for Zimbabwe on Day 2; Tendai Chatara picks up the valuable wicket of Marlon Samuels on the first ball of the day. Excellent yorker by Chatara, and Samuels was too late to bring his bat down. He was dismissed at 26, and now Chanderpaul has come in to join Chris Gayle.

1st day summary: After Kyle Jarvis picked up two early wickets to get Zimbabwe back into the game, Gayle and Samuels made sure that West Indies didn't lose anymore wicket at the end of day one. Gayle, who was looking a bit scratchy at the start, played some impressive strokes, and was very well supported by Marlon Samuels. Chris Gayle reached his fifty in the 23rd over in style by hitting Utseya for a six and a four. West Indies are still very much on top of this game after dismissing Zimbabwe for just 175 runs. West Indies now trail just by 61 runs, with eight wickets still in hand. Earlier, on Day 1, Zimababwe opener Vusi Sibanda gave Zimbabwe a flying start before Shannon Gabriel picked up both the openers in quick succession. The rest of the work was done by the spinners, with Shillingford getting another five wicket haul, and Marlon Samuels picking up three wickets.
