3rd ODI: Watson, Hughes power Australia to 329


Canberra: Shane Watson, Phillip Hughes and George Bailey powered Australia to a huge total batting first against West Indies.

Australia: 329 for 7 in 50 overs Riding on Watson's century, Hughes 86 and a late surge by Bailey
powered Australia to a huge total. For the West Indies, Sammy and Narine picked up two wickets each while Roach, Bravo and Pollard chipped in with a wicket each.

Australia: 321 for 7 in 49.1 overs Dwayne Bravo clean bowled James Faulkner for 2, but the century by Watson and the cameo by Bailey had already hurt the West Indies.Australia: 317 for 6 in 48.2 overs Pollard takes another catch at the boundary to end George Bailey's cameo of 44 runs.

Australia: 299 for 5 in 46.4 overs Pollard took a brilliant catch at the midwicket boundary off Sunil Narine to remove Glenn Maxwell for 4.

Australia: 242 for 3 in 40.4 overs After the wicket of Shane Watson, Australia innings was lifted by Phillip Hughes half-century. But when the hosts needed the service of Michael Clarke with nine overs to go, Kieron Pollard picked up the Aussie captain for 15.

Australia: 201 for 2 in 33.5 overs After reachin his century, Watson raised the tempo of his game and went after the bowlers before he got out on 122 while going for a big shot over square-leg off Kemar Roach.

Australia: 169 for 1 in 31.4 overs Shane Watson who is on a roll at the moment is taking the West Indies bowlers to the cleaners. The right-handed batsman reached his century off 102 ball which was studded with 11 boundaries.

Australia: 128 for 1 in 25 overs West Indies are finding it hard to stop Shane Watson, who is on a rampage on his return to the team. Watson is batting on 77 while Phillip Hughes on 10.

Australia: 89 for 1 in 15.9 overs Just after Shane Watson reached his half-century off a single to the third-man, Darren Sammy picked up Aaron Finch caught behind for 38.

Australia: 59 for 0 in 10 overs Shane Watson and Aaron Finch gave Australia a rapid start after the hosts elected to bat. Both the Aussie openers seem to be in no problem facing the new ball.
Michael Clarke won the toss and elected to bat on Wednesday as Australia chase a series-clinching win in the third one-dayer against the West Indies.

Vice-captain Shane Watson makes a comeback by replacing Usman Khawaja. The hosts now have a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

While West Indies, who look to bounce back with a win to stay alive in the series have also made a change. Allrounder Andre Russell comes in place of the impressive Jason Holder.
